This course introduces students to the several concepts in conservation biology, habitat management and field methods. A strongly field based course, lectures and field exercises are conducted at sites such as the Kolli Hills, Parmabikulam Wildlife Sanctuary, and Kalivelli wetlands. Students also get the opportunity to see a good portion of the wildlife of the Western Ghats.
