Agricultural practices are highly susceptible to social pressures, customs and of course economies. This is a field oriented programme which takes a broad view of agriculture and includes animal husbandry, aquaculture as well as aqua based activities such as azolla and spirullina cultivation. Students will participate in a range of hands on activities and field visits interspersed with theory sessions. They will also get the opportunity to wokr alongside long time organic agriculturists Bernard and Deepika, at Pebble Garden, Auroville.

And finally, hands on experience working at Pebble Garden will give students a chance to observe and try the many things they learn.
